Springs and lakes

Departing from the famous Mont-Gerbier-de-Jonc, you alternate between passages in forests and crossings of green pastures to reach the village of Sainte-Eulalie via the lakes of Issarlès and Lapalisse.

You start at the foot of Mont-Gerbier-de-Jonc, known for sheltering the three sources of the Loire. You set off to discover unspoilt nature and discover extraordinary landscapes. Passing through the Chartreuse de Bonnefoy, you arrive at Lake Issarlès, a volcanic maar with crystal clear waters. Why not take advantage of a swimming stop in summer? The circuit will then take you to discover Lake Lapalisse and the charming village of Sainte-Eulalie. You will only have 6km left to finish you bike ride.
